We're trying to take advantage of where we live and the beautiful weather as much as possible lately so when Gunnar got home today we got out and went on a family walk/adventure!
Kit loves riding! He kept cracking up at Trooper and the dogs, especially Sister! He's always loved her!

and ROCKS!! Lately this boy LOVES rocks!! He always has two in his hand if he's outside! The other day Gunnar said that in his short walk to the house, he would pick one up, take a couple steps, find a "better" one, put the first one down and pick the new one up, over and over again!
We dug around a junk pile!
Gunnar and I found some cool old grain press we think... It would make a cool porch ornament! It was HEAVY though!
Anyone know? Gran?
This kid!! haha He loves wearing caps now and always asks for one if he sees it, this too small onesie (suddenly all of his clothes shrunk! ;), these WAY too big shorts and his new cool shoes!
Seriously, these shorts are 12 months, which he is outgrowing in all his other clothes, I think they were sized wrong! But we just got them back from Jax and I went ahead and stuck then in his drawer and Gunnar keeps putting them on him and they're sooo ridiculous and cute!!
Just a boy and his dog exploring! He's such a little boy! So curious and adventurous! He kept asking what the poles and wires do. Explaining electricity to a two year old is not an easily conquered challenge! He kept asking where it was going, "where doe-ing Daddy?" Gunnar explained that it went to the pump that pumped water into the tank. Monte would say, "Oh." walk for a little while then ask again, "dat doe-ing to pump? pump water?" You could tell he was thinking it over for a while.
Exploring cattle chutes and pens!
He pushed this thing all the way to the pens, about half a mile, left it there while we went on further, then pushed it all the way home!! We have certainly gotten our money's worth out of this dump truck!
Love my guys!

I thought the farm tool was a bean sheller, but Papa said he thought it was some kind of tool cleaner because of the brushes inside. I tried to find it on the web, but no luck. It may have been some kind of silage, hay shredder. But we both think it will make a nice porch ornament. Papa was glad you like things like that! :-)
