I came home from a ladies gathering the other night and discovered Monte asleep like this! hehe that boy! (He was in the process of moving his head and wasn't actually asleep with his face in the bed!)
We try to FaceTime Gunnar pretty often if we can. Just waiting for Daddy to answer... Yesterday Monte was "feeding" Daddy his lunch through the phone.
The boys have turned a corner lately and actually started playing together more. Here they were playing catch, or attempting anyway, I don't think either one ever actually caught the ball.
This one turned out well. I left the room and just heard giggling until they reappeared in the room I was in...
Monte has been fascinated with scissors lately, especially cutting leaves and grass!
And digging, there has been lots of digging lately!
Gotta love a dirty boy!!
We've been getting into making "movies" (smoothies) regularly again, so much good stuff you can pack into one of those. The boys love them!
Outside, outside, outside!! The boys have been living outside lately and I love it!!
They found the mud puddle a couple days ago. Lots of fun was had by all!!
I started a new motor development/keep them busy activity! They're both fans. It won't last long though, Kit liked throwing things too much! But he also loves picking them up and putting them in the box so it works out.
That tongue!! Monte loves building roads so that has become the new method of entertainment with dominoes! He also puts too many syllables into dominoes, "domininininoes" hehe He does the same thing with "banana...." Banananananas"
I bought this little table last year at the JBF sale and it seriously has been one of the single best purchases of my life!! Monte spends so much time here sometimes and then other times doesn't use it for days but because it's his size and always out, it provides a place where drawing or cutting or coloring is always an option! Lately he has been drawing circles around objects in his coloring books and cutting the pages up.
As you can tell by the floor. Lots of cutting! But we clean it up every evening and that's what the coloring books are there for. Creating! Sometimes that means creating a mess! haha
He wanted Kit to have one too but Kit wasn't having it!
Today they had lot's to get done! Working hard over here! I'm not totally sure what the goal was but they sure were working hard to accomplish it!! Lots of loading and unloading rocks!
Got his hat, his glasses, and his chip clip! Not sure what the mission is but he's ready for it anyway!
More smoothie today! Kit is so proud of himself when he gets to drink from a cup!!
