Kit Lawson - One Year Photoshoot

Guys!!  I was so excited about Kit's one year photo shoot! He was so cute in his flannel shirt, and all the fall pumpkins, and hay and everything, and this is what he did the WHOLE TIME!!  So sad....

 

We tried everything, being silly, feeding him, nursing him, changing locations... Nothing worked!  He is normally more fussy in the evenings but this evening he was just straight up mad!  So I was very impressed that Penny got not just one good one, but several.  I was a little sad that we weren't able to get his infectious grin but we're doing family pictures soon and will do a few extras of Kit alone, hopefully, if he's happy!  *fingers crossed*

This toy lion helped for about 1.4 seconds...

Even Daddy couldn't make him happy... or Monte..  We all tried!

I really like this one because he squats like this to look at stuff quite often!

The only real smile we were able to get and even so it's not really his real, happy smile, but isn't he cute anyway?!

He does this a lot too!

Happy birthday Kitbo!  We love you!  And thanks to Aunt Penny for pulling out all her tricks to get any good pictures at all!

So for as much as Kit hated his photo shoot, Monte LOVED being a part of it!  We had dressed him nice too hoping to get a few photos of both boys together.  While that didn't work out, he did try helping by talking to Kit and trying to make him laugh...it didn't work but it warmed my heart to watch him try! 

So handsome!
