I think Dad might have been more sore from grandfathering than he was from skiing!!
I spy a baby Kit!
Mom and Dad, Sara and Wyatt, and Gunnar and me bought 4 lift tickets between the 6 of us and split the costs! Two people always stayed at the lodge with the babies while everyone else skied! That way no one was home alone with the boys. It was kinda fun hanging out at the lodge. Monte and Jax are really starting to develop a friendship and comprehending playing together almost and Kit, Well Kit is just super cute! He was really fussy the first day, I don't know if it was altitude or he was already a little sick or what but he needed to be held a lot so there was lots of Kit cuddling!
There was a light saber at the lodge that Monte LOVED!! Doing puzzles with Aunt Penny!
Jax had to do a little bit of sleep training while there, darn babies! But Sara and Wyatt decided it was more fun when you do it with company around to help lighten the mood! The four of us got into an indepth conversation about birth and babies and the guys impressions of us had us laughing so hard Sara and I were crying!
All bundled to go visit the slopes!
Gunnar and I took the first shift with the babies and decided to take them on a walk to the ski shop! While Gunnar and Monte went inside to look at ski googles, Kit slept and Jax and I threw rocks and flipped upside down in the stroller.
Like I said, lots of Kit snuggles the first day or so.
Sink baths for the win! Sorta... Kit liked it anyway...
Monte has recently discovered scissors and markers so that helped keep him busy.
Whoever stayed with the boys would send the skiers updates and pictures like these so they would know everything was ok!
According to Mom there was one more gatorade than there was room on the sill and Monte spent a large part of the morning arranging and rearranging trying to fit them all on!
After Kit felt better he spent a lot of time in this crack in the couch watching everyone, playing with his hands and talking!
Helping Granmolly peel cucumbers!
They also have night skiing at Angel Fire so we took turns doing that! Penny stayed one night and helped keep the boys and kept Jax happy and busy with snapchat filters! He learned that sticking out your tongue is FUN!
The last afternoon Mom and Dad kept the boys and had about 30 minutes when all three boys were asleep, which in baby time, is an eternity! They sent us this picture of themselves taking a picture of each other relaxing!
There was lots of group feeding time!
And group bathing!
Don't be fooled, they both hated the sink bathes! Monte turned the hot water on and scared himself and Jax was tired and done but we were all laughing and it will be a funny memory! Plus they got clean!
This bath was much more fun! Dr Suess anyone?! ;)
The stairs and flashing ball also provided a lot of entertainment!
Say it with me, "AHHHHH"
All the boys love Aunt Penny!
Well hey Kit!
There was this little balcony off the living room and Jax and Monte LOVED it!! They couldn't fit through the rails so we could just leave the door open and let them come and go as they pleased. We did make sure someone had an eye on them though. You could see the ski slopes and lifts from it too!
Because we were so close to the slopes we had the time to actually cook and enjoy breakfast! Gunnar usually took the lead in that as I was trying to feed children! Plus he makes great fried eggs!
Dad read to the boys a lot!
The curtains also provided lots of entertainment!
Kit got to wear his new mountain clothes and was fascinated by the pattern on his pants when we would sit him on the couch!
Naked babies about to head to bed!!
