Steele Samuel - 6 Months

And just like that half a year has flown by and we have a 6 month old!!

Weight -

Size 3 diapers

Clothes - 6-9 months but he is busting out of a lot of the 6 month stuff!  I need to pull out the 9-12 month box soon probably.

Sucks his thumb and rubs his ear when he gets tired.  So precious!

Still likes the bumbo.  The boy is definitely our extrovert and demands to be in the middle of the action!  Does not like being left alone on the other side of the room even if he can see us!The bumbo enables him to be right with us all!

Rolled from back to tummy

Loves "chewing" on carrots

On a pretty reliable nap schedule now.  Still mixes up the lengths of naps some.  Nurses one or two times a night.  Has slept through the night quite often, even doing a few 12 hour nights, but often still nurses once or twice.  Not bad at all!

His reach from the bumbo is deceptive and far reaching!  He has spilled many a glass/pitcher of water that we were "positive" was far enough away from him.

Has experienced grass for the first time and just wants to eat it!

The second he gets something in his hands it goes into his mouth.

Went through a horrible leap for a few days where he was just fussy and crying ANY TIME he was awake!  Ahhh it was hard.  Then one day he woke up and could sit up and has gotten sooo much happier since then.  Man those leaps can be hard.

Has boycotted the bouncer. I think it's because he wants to go so badly and the bouncer traps him in place!

Still gives the best snuggles.

Daddy has been working from home in the mornings and Steele is just a great little helper ;)

Been fishing a few times now

Had his first couple sitting up baths!  He wants to grab to water coming out of the facet so badly and just can't figure out why he can't get it!

Loves his brothers

Has the darkest hair of the three of them so far.  Still doesn't have much so we'll see how dark it gets as it grows in and gets thicker.

Went to the water crossing for the first time!

For someone who can't actually crawl he can get around impressively well!

Can go from tummy to sitting and is still quite proud of himself!

Has started sitting up when you lay him in bed for a nap or even at night.  The first time he did it, I thought "oh great here we go!"  But so far he has put himself to sleep quite easily even from sitting up.  I had to train the other two to lay themselves down for days when they started doing that!

Is SOOO close to crawling!  I have so many videos of him almost crawling on my phone!

Sara described this as "lumpity bumpity" haha
