We met up with Penny that morning and set out blankets.

Gunnar's Mimi was in town so they came and enjoyed the festivities with us!
Once the cannon went off without warning Monte wore his earmuffs after that even though it was way too early for fireworks!
As usual lots of watermelon was consumed!
Adeline is still all the rage to my boys!
Monte liked the fireworks way more that I thought he would. He is not a fan of loud noises but he had his ear muffs and his Aunt Penny and he was ok. You could tell he was still apprehensive but then he would flash a cute grin and say "That so pretty!"
Jaxson wasn't a fan of the noise but he settled down after a few minutes and kinda enjoyed them.
Kit LOVED the fireworks and was absolutely mesmerized while they were going off. The SECOND they would stop he would turn around and say, "More Mama!! More Mama!" like I had any control over how quickly they were going off!
