Gunnar had to work Chirstmas morning (sad day) so we all took our time getting up and hanging out waiting for him to get home. Monte found that by the morning light Spot (the giant stuffed horse) was pretty hilarious and had a fun time playing with him and Pickup!
Shenanigans! Mom found a rubber wine cork in Sara's junk drawer and it became Monte's favorite toy of the day! It was perfect to hold and chew apparently!
When Gunnar let us know he was heading home we finally started breakfast. We do Christmas breakfast right! Bacon (I'm pretty sure Wyatt cooked like 5 pounds of bacon and I'm pretty sure over half of it was gone before we ever officially ate breakfast) Monkey bread, eggs, and homemade sausage!! Yum yum!
After breakfast we finally decided that is was time for Santa! hehe My mom made Monte a stocking that matches the one she made me when I was little and I didn't get a picture of it! argh! It was so cute and she plans on making all her grandkids one that matches their parents. Mine has a reindeer on it so all my kids will be reindeer! Love it!
I love that Monte already knows and loves our families!
Monte was not a fan of J in his new hat! He just couldn't quite figure him out!
My mom got my dad a black hat 38 years ago that he still wears it every winter! It's a little worse for wear and has been torn and repaired a time or two so mom decided to get him a new one. So fun!

My parents also bought and hid nerf guns all over the house that created an all out war! Wyatt and Gunnar both nailed each other in the eye with their eye open! It was really great to laugh so much.
