My baby boy is seven months of joy, adventure, giggles, and chub!
- Is pulling up, on EVERYTHING. I never knew how many items in our home are non pull up worthy.
- Still gets so proud of himself when he pulls up.
- LOVES the kitty! I heard giggling yesterday, went to investigate, and found this! I think the kitty wanted the warm fuzzy blanket then couldn't escape the grabby fingers :)
-Always wants your fingers to stand up with. Has stood alone for a second or two a couple times.
- Now naps exclusively in his Rock 'n' Play! It's a life saver because you can strap him in!! Laying him in his crib he would just sit up or pull up and wouldn't ever go to sleep. Now I nurse him, lay him down and he either stays asleep or talks himself to sleep playing with the blanket fringe or his pacifier.
- He is officially crawling! It was what I was calling the "step and drag" where he would step with one foot then drag his other leg along but as of Sunday he usually crawls on both knees now.
- Crawling is not an accomplishment to him but merely a means to an end! He just wants to get somewhere he can pull up! That boy wants to be up and going so bad!
- Crawling has opened up a new world of "toys." He sat and opened and shut this stool lid for over five minutes the other day.
- Cruises the furniture (he started out by the blanket) but has yet to "bridge the gap" so to speak between furniture.
-Still has the best grin and is very expressive!
-LOVES keys!
-Like I said, pulling up on everything!
- Went to his last football game of the year....Now on to basketball!!
- "Talks" a lot but hasn't said an official first word that I know of yet...
- Does not like wearing hats of any kind and always immediately pulls them off.
- Learning to crawl and stand has been rather hazardous work and he pretty much daily gets a new bump on his head!
- Loves to be read to!
- Oh those eyebrows!
- Loves looking at himself in mirrors!
- Still likes the frog but usually would much rather be on the ground so he can move around. I still put him outside at least once a day but he usually doesn't last as long as he used to.
- So proud of himself!
- Loves the outdoors!
- Has started eating solid foods more regularly now. I've done egg yolks cooked in chicken broth, cooked carrots also in chicken broth, applesauce (his favorite), and sometimes banana or avocado. He also drinks water now sometimes.
- Wearing sizes 9 and 12 months.
- Naps much more regularly and consistently now! Goes down between 9-10 and again between 1-2 and then sometimes takes a late afternoon nap sometimes not. Bedtime is between 7-8 although usually we're fighting to make it til 7. Depends on if he had that late nap or not.
