So I've kinda exploded in the last week or two. Before my belly pretty much hadn't caused any problems or been in the way that much. Not anymore! I almost asked Gunnar to put on my shoes the other day! haha
Weight Gain: - 28-30 lbs. depending on the time of day and how much I've eaten haha
Symptoms: Still minor legs cramps, trouble falling asleep, a weird burning sensation on the top right side of my belly, involuntary grunting, can't eat much anymore but then I'm hungry 10 minutes later.
Name: We'll let ya know...
Baby size: 4.5 - 5.8 lbs and 17-18.5 in. long (according to the pregnancy apps... who know how accurate those things are!)
Movements: Moves ALL the time! He loves kicking my right rib cage! Have I mentioned that I've fractured those ribs twice before and I don't think they've appreciated the extra jabs much?!
Position: He's been LOA (his back is in the left front portion of my uterus) for several weeks now, which is good, not great for my ribs, but the best position for labor supposedly.
Cravings: Still none really...
I started another baby afghan. I'm thinking that I might like this one even better than the first one I made. I might not finish this one before he arrives but that's ok. I did give myself a goal of 2 rows a day (which actually is 4 rows because each row of color takes two rows of crocheting) So if I stick with that I'll finish providing he doesn't show up super early! I'm also working on converting one of our dressers that was in need of some TLC anyway into a changing table type piece. We'll see how that goes and I'll blog about it later if it turns out well!
I'm definitely getting excited to meet this little guy! I already feel like I know him. We've been doing a Birth Boot Camp class and I think that has helped me be able to visualize what it might actually be like to some degree, or make it seem more real, not that it wasn't real before...I don't know! haha I just know that him coming seems like an event I can actually picture happening soon and not some abstract event that will happen WAY in the future! And I'm going to stop now.... ;)
