Well this Christmas was the one that bit us all in the stomach! It was
rather a bummer but we pulled together and made the best of it. It
started with Jax, then Sara and Wyatt got it, Dad had to go over and
help with Jax while they were out of commission and then he got it,
Jonathan had it at the same time as Dad but wasn't ever home so we don't
know how he got it, then Mom got it from them...Penny, Kit, and I were
around Sara and Jax the day or two after they had it because I had
gotten Sara Trans Siberian Orchestra tickets for her birthday and we
weren't about to miss that so we chanced it... Monte got it next and he
was never around anyone! I tell ya, watching your baby throw up over
and over again in the middle of the night is not for the faint of
heart. I had it at the same time as Monte but I honestly think I had
the lightest case. Poor Gunnar and Ann trying to take care of both of
us! Gunnar had it the next day then a few days later my mother in law
got it! Wyatt's parents both caught it and both of my grandparents
ended up with it... Kit finally even got it! Apparently Penny's immune system is equal to Superman's as she was the only one who escaped the misery!! So all in all we had to
change Christmas plans around and nothing really turned out as planned but we all pulled through and made the best of it!

Monte's favorite part of Christmas was handing out the presents except that he wanted to give them all to Grandad!
We ended up having Christmas at the Sullenger's early instead of on Christmas Day as originally planned. Monte and Kit were in their matching striped pjs and were the cutest things ever!

Monte got bubble wrap for Christmas and I don't think he could have been happier! Also he really can't jump yet!
Sid and Ann made reindeer for us from Monte's feet! So fun!
Telling Uncle all about it!
Poor guy was soo sleepy but couldn't stop throwing up long enough to stay asleep! Fortunately it only lasted about three hours and then he was able to get some rest. Also Kit picked that night to sleep 8 hours and for that we were very grateful! He's sweet like that! ;)
This was post throwing up for hours in the middle of the night! He would NEVER just crawl up into our laps and fall asleep in the middle of the day in normal life. Poor guy. He slept like this for about an hour then fell asleep with me later and slept another 4 hours. :(
This was post Me and Monte being sick, during Gunnar still sorta being sick and about 30 minutes before my side of the family showed up for Christmas! None of our gifts were wrapped, apparently Kit had taken a nose dive on the couch, Monte was I'm sure trying to "help" him! haha See, like I said, we made the best of it!
Monte loved putting the presents under the tree although he would only put them in one spot and made a tower!
My family ended up coming to our house Christmas night and we ended up having a pretty great time all things considered! We played with babies, opened presents, played with babies, played games, the guys burned our trash, Thanks!, played with babies, played corn hole, took a walk, and played with babies!
Monte always wants to "help" Kit and Jax which, while sweetly intentioned, can become rather unhelpful quickly!
You can tell who the important people in the family are now!
So trying to get a good picture of three babies under the age of two is just not really possible but it sure was funny trying!

I think this was Gunnar's favorite present! While he was at work, his wonderful brother in laws burned our trash! Believe me, for country living this is a really nice chore to be taken care of!
